Grá Máthair

Cabernet Sauvignon · Napa Valley · 2024

Story

Born of a Mother's Love,
Rooted in Napa Valley.

A grass lane running between two trellised vine rows

Between the rows

Grá Máthair — pronounced graw MAW-hir — is Irish for mother's love. It is not a marketing word. It is the thing this wine was made in honor of: the strength, the guidance, and the unconditional love that shapes who we become.

A Cabernet Sauvignon was the only honest way to say it. Napa fruit, classically built, with the depth and the tannin to still be standing years from now — the same enduring spirit the name carries.

“Every bottle should taste like it was chosen by someone who knows you. This one was chosen for someone who knew me first.”

Winemaking

Napa Valley

Fruit sourced and vinified in Napa Valley, with a hands-off approach in the cellar: native ferment, French oak, and time.

The Table

Where it belongs

Grá Máthair was never built for a score sheet. It was built for a long dinner, a full table, and the people you'd open something good for.

The Vineyard

Napa Valley, Where Cabernet
Says the Most.

Sun rising over the valley floor across planted vineyard blocks

Napa Valley was established as an American Viticultural Area in 1981 — the first in California. Warm days, cool maritime nights drawn up from San Pablo Bay, and volcanic and alluvial soils give Cabernet Sauvignon here its signature: ripe dark fruit held together by real structure.

The Wine

Every Vintage,
One Expression.

One wine, made one way, every year. No second label, no reserve tier — just the best of what the vintage gave us, under one name.

In the glass

Deep garnet

Opaque at the core, narrowing to a fine ruby rim. Slow, heavy legs.

On the nose

Cassis & cedar

Blackcurrant and dark cherry over cocoa, sweet tobacco leaf and a lift of violet.

On the palate

Full, fine-grained

Blackberry and plum with graphite underneath. Tannins polished rather than soft.

At the table

Ribeye & aged cheese

Grilled red meat, short ribs, lamb, or a hard aged cheese at the end of the night.
